This notice is to announce that an Addendum to the June 3, 2026, Advertisement of Bid for the Playground Improvements for the Early Childhood Section at Denning Elementary School has been released. The Board of Education of Frankfort CUSD #168, 900 N. Cherry St, West Frankfort, IL 62896, will receive sealed bids for this project and all interested bidders should access and acknowledge the receipt of this addendum if they choose to bid.
The bid opening will be on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the CUSD #168 Administrative Service Center located at 900 N. Cherry Street, West Frankfort, IL. At that time the bids will be publicly opened and read. A Performance Bond in the full amount of the contract will be required. The contractor must pay the Prevailing Wage Rates and work under the auspices of the district’s Project Labor Agreement with the Egyptian Building and Construction Trades Council.
It is the policy of Frankfort CUSD #168 to provide equal opportunity to all qualified businesses in the awarding of contracts.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive irregularities in the bidding procedure, or to accept the Bid that in its opinion will serve its best interest. Any such decision shall be considered final. The Owner reserves the right to set aside a Bid from a Contractor who, in the Owner’s opinion, does not exhibit past experience equal to the size and scope of this project.
The bidder shall have a written sexual harassment policy in place in full compliance with Section 2-105 of the Illinois Human Rights Act.
