Congrats to Jim Piersol for winning the Riva award at the Mid Winter Classic this year. This award is given to someone that has coached and promoted girls’ athletics in the school and community.
The CJHS and FIS winter concert was a success! Way to go Mr. Followell and all the students!
4th graders read a book called, “Just Kidding!” this week. This book has lead to lots of great discussions about joking around and having fun vs saying mean, rude, and hurtful things. Today we sorted examples of different comments into Fun or Hurtful.

Ms. Willmore’s 5th Grade Class is learning about the American Revolution in social studies. Today we did a tax activity. Students were assigned parts as colonists, parliament, tax collector, and the King of England! We used M&M’s to represent the tax process!

4th grade clubs are back! The kiddos were able to choose between 5 clubs they wanted to join. Clubs meet every other Friday for an hour during school hours. We use this as a way to allow the children to develop interests and this time allows us to teach the whole child!! ❤️
