Congratulations to the FIS Teacher of the Month for November: Mrs. Georgina Krajeski. Our students are very lucky to have you teaching, loving, and guiding them daily! Thank you for all you do, Mrs. Krajeski!! ❤️🩶

From District 168: our four schools are experiencing the same power issues the whole community is at this time. We are continuing our regular instructional day and meals and expect regular dismissal time today. If anything changes we will let you know.

A huge THANK YOU going out to WFPD this morning for escorting our sickly raccoon friend away from the front doors of FIS! You are our heroes!!

Good evening from Frankfort CUSD #168. Remember that after a full day of school attendance the next two Mondays (October 21 and 28), Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held from 4 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. For questions, please call your school office.

On Thursday, October 17th, fourth grader, Ayden Arview, went to the Scholastic Book Fair. He noticed a classmate without money and Ayden's kind heart took over. He decided that he would rather give a gift than buy himself anything!
On Friday, October 18th, Ayden found $20 while entering the building. Without a second thought, he did the right thing and turned the cash into the office! We were able to get the money back into the right hands because of Ayden's actions!
He has set a wonderful example for other Redbirds! Kudos to his parents for raising such an awesome young man!
Way to go, Ayden!!! You make us proud!

Freshman game on 10/17 has been cancelled.
