The CJHS Halloween Dance is this Friday, October 12. Students must meet the following criteria to attend: No failing grades No more than 2 detentions No in-school or out of school suspensions No more than 2 days of absence without a doctor's note. Tickets must be purchased by Friday at the end of the school day. No tickets will be sold at the door.

Congratulations to Xavier Cuevas and Joan Raby for placing in the top ten at the Junior High Cross Country Regional yesterday. Xavier placed third in the Boys' and Joan placed 8th in the girls' and qualified for the State meet! Way to go Birds!

Our 8th grade Social Studies class often helps with taking down our flag and folding it daily. Bentley Miller and Layton Kohzadi took their turn in preserving our flags. Mr. Hopkins has taught the class about the proper folding technique and how to properly respect the flag.
