I want to make it public that our wrestlers have finally found a home. I want to thank the West Frankfort Aquatic Center on working with us and allowing us to use their facilities this wrestling year. Thank you so much!! I also want to thank Coach Arrington and all involved in this process for their patience and understanding during this process.

Now that senior week is over for our fall sports, we would like to honor one of our retiring coaches.

We want to thank the Redbird Chant team this year. I feel that these ladies do a lot of planning and promoting the games. I want to thank them as well as all the students that have been coming to support our athletes. It means a lot to the school, athletes, parents/guardians of athletes as well as the community to see the school pride that you are showing this year. Thank you Hannah, Anna, and Quincy for taking the lead with the chant team!!!

Senior Night for Football tonight. We will also recognize, cheer, band, cross country, golf, and dance seniors as well.
Redbirds take on Nashville. The theme of the night for HS students is Halloween. Any HS student dressed in the theme will get in free. Any HS student or Central student that wears a Redbird shirt or a red shirt will get in free as well. DES and FIS students make sure you are bringing in your SuperFan cards to the game.

We are a little behind on the Papa John's Athlete of the Week. These are our Papa John's athletes of the last two weeks. Ben Herron for boys golf, Libby Berthoux for cross country, Jenna Deason for volleyball, and Laela Kohzadi for cheerleading. With this being late, and wanting to get it done today we had to track down Ms. Kohzadi on a field trip at Fern Cliff. Thank you Mr. Maddox for the picture!
